Lola came to us from Elmarie van Staden with Cheeky male. Lola was rescued by Elmarie. I call her my half monkey due to her small body size. Lola has developed rickets as a result of insufficient direct sunlight and incorrect diets. Soon after their arrival Lola and Cheeky had to be separated due to fighting. Lola fell pregnant before and on a Sunday evening we rushed through to after hours emergency veterinary Dr, where they did a C-section and 2 babies were born. Sadly the 2 babies died on our way back home. Lola was then introduced to Sampie who was a very difficult monkey. They love each other and recently a baby Marmoset Geoffrey were introduced to them. They are very good parents. Happy family!

Gesiggie was rescued by Stacy L and were treated for a very severe case of rickets, 27/2/2017 Gesiggie came to us. Gesiggie's whole back is scew and she can not jump. She is 10 years old. She was in a small budgie cage inside the ladies room. No direct sunlight and also poor diets. It is irreversible and will never come right. We have made it as comfortable possible for Gesiggie. Many walkways as she can not jump, and she is on permanent treatment for her rickets. She is very happy here and is with 3 other monkeys. Sadly Gesiggie has since passed away.

Mia was bought by Horace Terry. They saw her in a pet shop where she was kept in a 5 litre ice cream container! Mia was donated to EMT with 9 other monkeys from Horace Terry. It took my wife and I about 3 months before we slowly got some of her trust. Every time you would hold your hand out, she would flicker her eyes, and shy away. She has been in big enclosures and with her family since she came to us, and she has turned around 360 degrees. She is very happy and healthy! And even jumps on us.

We would love you to adopt one of our monkeys to make sure they have the right quality of live.
Goofy came to us from Theresa Bothma on 30 May 2016. He very soon got the nickname, 'King of the house' as he frequent the house and his enclosure. Very loveable and soft marmoset boy. He scares quickly and if loud noises, he would go into hiding, and has kept us busy searching for him many times. Lol! And he would keep so quite when you call for him. He is happy with his family, Chappies and Milo. Goofy were diagnosed a year ago with an enlarged heart and is on constant medicines. He is doing very well and he is very contend.
